Feels Like Home, For All product line
Feels Like Home launched a lower-priced line called For All. Two goals were set: add 12,000 email subscribers by the end of September, and raise the monthly email conversion rate by two points within six months of launch. This report covers progress through August.
“Open rates are strong and above benchmark, but click-to-open rate is consistently underperforming, likely the biggest constraint on conversion growth.”

Slides 4 to 6 carry the written analysis in their speaker notes. They are shown here in full.
Summary
New subscriber growth has trended upward since April, climbing from 1,274 in April to 2,156 in August. The steepest jump came between June and July (1,674 to 2,102, a gain of 428), coinciding with the end-of-June For All launch, suggesting the product launch itself is driving sign-ups. Even with this momentum, cumulative subscribers since April total 8,663, leaving a gap of 3,337 to reach the 12,000 goal, so at the current pace of roughly 2,100-2,200 per month, the campaign will fall short by the end of September.
Recommendations
Continue the referral incentive and pair it with a short-term push, such as a limited-time bonus discount for referrals made before the deadline, to accelerate sign-ups through September. If growth doesn’t meaningfully increase, consider extending the timeline into October or adding another acquisition channel, such as paid social, to close the remaining gap. Track forward rate weekly to gauge how much of this growth the referral program specifically is driving.
Summary
Since the end-of-June launch, this year’s monthly conversion rate has climbed from 5% to 5.5% in August, rising about 0.25 percentage points each month and outperforming last year’s roughly flat 4.8-4.9% rate over the same months. If this 0.25% monthly pace holds steady, the campaign won’t reach the 7% goal until February, two months past the six-month, end-of-December deadline.
Recommendations
To accelerate progress toward the 7% target, continue refining list segmentation so subscribers receive product recommendations most relevant to their stated interests, and test new subject lines or email content to drive stronger click-through, since conversion depends on clicking through as well as opening. If the rate holds steady or declines in the coming months, consider a more aggressive segmentation strategy, run A/B tests on email formats, and reassess whether the December deadline needs to be extended.
Summary
Open rate has trended upward since the end-of-June launch, climbing from around 19-20% in early July to 28% by the end of August, consistently at or above the 20% industry benchmark, especially in the back half of the period. Click-to-open rate, however, has stayed flat and underperformed, fluctuating between 1% and 2.5% with no clear upward trend, well below the 3% industry benchmark throughout July and August.
Recommendations
Click-to-open rate needs the most attention, since it’s consistently below benchmark despite strong open rates, meaning more subscribers are opening emails but fewer are clicking through. Testing stronger, more specific calls to action, more relevant product recommendations from segmentation, and mobile-optimized email design could help drive more clicks. Improving click-to-open rate should also directly support the stalled conversion-rate goal, since a click is a required step before any purchase.
